What we record

There are no accounts, no cookies and no adverts. Your progress (the questions you have answered, lessons you have finished and mocks you have taken) is saved only in this browser, on this device. We cannot see it.

Anonymous statistics

To learn which parts of the site are used and where to improve it, each page sends us a few anonymous facts:

• which page was opened, and roughly how long it was in use;
• the country and region the visit came from (worked out by our host, Cloudflare; we don't keep your IP address);
• the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and its operating system;
• the website you came from, if any (just its name, such as google.com);
• whether this browser has visited before (a note kept in the browser, not a cookie);
• for practice questions and lesson checks: whether each answer was right, so we can see which questions many students find hard;
• mock scores, finished lessons and what was typed into the site's search box.

A random number, made up fresh in each browser tab, links the pages of one visit together. It is not linked to you, your name or your device, and we cannot tell who you are from any of this.

Feedback

When you send feedback, we keep your message, the page or question it is about, and the country it came from. An email address or phone number is kept only if you give one, and is used only to reply to you. Please don't put your full name, school or other personal details in a message.

How long we keep it

Statistics are deleted after two years. Feedback is kept until it has been dealt with. To have a message you sent deleted, send feedback asking for it and say roughly when you sent it.
