$22\frac12\%$ of the Nigerian naira is equal to $17\frac1{10}\%$ of a foreign currency M. What is the conversion rate of M to the naira?

Write the percentages as decimals: $0.225$ N $= 0.171$ M.
Divide both sides by 0.171 to get 1 M: 1 M $= \dfrac{0.225}{0.171}$ N.
Clear the decimals: $\dfrac{225}{171} = \dfrac{75}{57}$
$= 1\frac{18}{57}$ .
