Put the 8 numbers in order: 1.6, 2.1, 2.1, 2.4, 2.6, 2.6, 2.6, 3.7.
The median is halfway between the 4th and 5th: $n = \frac{2.4 + 2.6}{2} = 2.5$ .
2.6 occurs three times, more than any other, so $m = 2.6$ .
So $(n, m) = (2.5, 2.6)$ , option B.
