Solve the equation (3x−2)(5x−4)=(3x−2)2.
Worked solution (try it first)
Bring everything to one side:
(3x−2)(5x−4)−(3x−2)2=0.
Take out the common factor
3x−2:
(3x−2)[(5x−4)−(3x−2)]=0, which is
(3x−2)(2x−2)=0.
So
x=32 or
x=1, option C.
