Find the range of $\frac16, \frac13, \frac32, \frac23, \frac89$ and $\frac43$ .

Compare the fractions as decimals: $\frac16 \approx 0.17$ , $\frac13 \approx 0.33$ , $\frac32 = 1.5$ , $\frac23 \approx 0.67$ , $\frac89 \approx 0.89$ and $\frac43 \approx 1.33$ .
The largest is $\frac32$ and the smallest is $\frac16$ .
Over the common denominator 6, the range is $\frac96 - \frac16 = \frac86$ , which simplifies to $\frac43$ , option A.
