Convert $241_5$ to base 8.

Worked solution (try it first)

Change to base ten: $241_5 = 2 \times 25 + 4 \times 5 + 1 = 71$ .
Divide by 8: $71 \div 8 = 8$ remainder 7, then $8 \div 8 = 1$ remainder 0, then $1 \div 8 = 0$ remainder 1.
