Obi walks $400\text{ m}$ to the top of a hill which slopes at an angle of $30^\circ$ to the horizontal. Determine the height of the hill.

The 400 m walked up the slope is the hypotenuse, and the height is opposite the $30^\circ$ angle.
So the height is $400\sin30^\circ = 400 \times \frac12$
$= 200$ m, option D.
