Solid mensuration

The radius and height of a solid cylinder are $8\text{ cm}$ and $14\text{ cm}$ respectively. Find, correct to two decimal places, the total surface area. $\left[\text{Take }\pi = \frac{22}{7}\right]$

A solid cylinder has a curved surface and two ends: $2\pi r(r + h)$ .
$2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 8 \times (8 + 14) = \frac{7744}{7}$
$\approx 1106.29\text{ cm}^2$ , option C.
