The bearing of a bird on a tree from a hunter on the ground is N $72^\circ$ E. What is the bearing of the hunter from the bird?

The hunter is in exactly the opposite direction from the bird, so turn the bearing round by $180^\circ$ .
For a compass bearing this means swapping N with S and E with W, and keeping the angle.
So N $72^\circ$ E becomes S $72^\circ$ W, option B.
