The whole angle
ZXY is
30∘+15∘=45∘.
In the right-angled triangle
XZY:
ZY=10tan45∘=10 cm.
In the right-angled triangle
XZR:
ZR=10tan30∘=310 cm.
R lies on
ZY, so
RY=ZY−ZR =10−310 =10(1−31) cm, option B.
