Find ∫(sin⁡x+2) dx\displaystyle\int (\sin x + 2)\,dx.

Worked solution (try it first)
  1. sin⁡x\sin x integrates to −cos⁡x-\cos x, and the constant 2 integrates to 2x2x.
  2. So ∫(sin⁡x+2) dx=−cos⁡x+2x+k\int(\sin x + 2)\,dx = -\cos x + 2x + k, option C.
