Evaluate ∫sin⁡2x dx\displaystyle\int \sin 2x\,dx.

Worked solution (try it first)
  1. sin⁡\sin integrates to −cos⁡-\cos.
  2. For sin⁡2x\sin2x, also divide by 2, the coefficient of xx.
  3. So ∫sin⁡2x dx=−12cos⁡2x+k\int\sin2x\,dx = -\frac12\cos2x + k, option D.
