Plane mensuration

A sector of a circle is bounded by two radii $7\text{ cm}$ long and an arc of length $6\text{ cm}$ . Find the area of the sector.

Worked solution (try it first)

The area of a sector is $\frac12 \times$ radius $\times$ arc length.
So the area is $\frac12 \times 7 \times 6 = 21\text{ cm}^2$ , option C.
