Evaluate $\displaystyle\int_0^2 (2x - x^2)\,dx$ .

Worked solution (try it first)

Integrate: $\left[x^2 - \frac{x^3}{3}\right]_0^2$ .
At $x = 2$ : $4 - \frac83 = \frac43$ .
At $x = 0$ : 0.
So the integral is $\frac43 = 1\frac13$ , option C.
