The pie chart shows the population of men, women and children in a city. If the population of the city is 1,800,000, how many men are in the city?

The angles add up to $360^\circ$ , so Men is $360^\circ - (120^\circ + 169^\circ) = 71^\circ$ .
Men's share of the city: $\frac{71}{360} \times 1\,800\,000$ .
Each degree is $1\,800\,000 \div 360 = 5000$ people, so there are $71 \times 5000 = 355\,000$ men, option C.
