Find, correct to two decimal places, the mean of $1\frac12$ , $2\frac23$ , $3\frac34$ , $4\frac45$ and $5\frac56$ .

Write each as an improper fraction over 60: $\frac{90}{60}, \frac{160}{60}, \frac{225}{60}, \frac{288}{60}, \frac{350}{60}$ .
They add up to $\frac{1113}{60} = 18.55$ .
Divide by 5: $\frac{18.55}{5} = 3.71$ , option A.
