Make $s$ the subject of the relation $p = s + \dfrac{sm^2}{nr}$ .

Worked solution (try it first)

Multiply every term by $nr$ to clear the fraction: $nrp = nrs + sm^2$ .
Take out $s$ as a common factor: $nrp = s(nr + m^2)$ .
Divide by $nr + m^2$ : $s = \dfrac{nrp}{nr + m^2}$ , option A.
