The pie chart represents the distribution of fruits on display in a shop. If there are 60 apples on display, how many oranges are there?

Worked solution (try it first)

The angles add up to $360^\circ$ , so Orange is $360^\circ - (80^\circ + 60^\circ + 100^\circ) = 120^\circ$ .
$80^\circ$ stands for 60 apples, so each degree is $\frac{60}{80} = \frac34$ of a fruit.
Orange: $120 \times \frac34 = 90$ oranges, option D.
